Overview
Bentonville is the hub of the OZ Trails network: Slaughter Pen (23+ miles, IMBA Silver Level Ride Center, per the city: https://www.bentonville.ar.gov/1071/Slaughter-Pen-Trails (opens in a new tab)), Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, Hand Cut Hollow, plus OZ Trails Bike Park (lift-served) and the Bella Vista systems (Back 40, Little Sugar, Blowing Springs) to the north. OZ Trails says you can ride between the three main in-town systems without loading a car, and that most bike shops in town rent full-suspension bikes; Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) is about 20 minutes from downtown (https://oztrails.com/trail-location/bentonville/ (opens in a new tab)). Mojo Rentals states Slaughter Pen is 1.5 miles from its shop on a protected greenway and Coler 0.9-2.3 miles depending on lot (https://mojocycling.com/rentals (opens in a new tab)).
