Overview
Town trails, backcountry classics (401, Doctor Park, Teocalli) and a lift-served bike park at Mt. Crested Butte, 2 miles up the road. The big logistics fact: no commercial mountain-bike shuttle serves the backcountry trailheads (riders pedal up or arrange their own). Crested Butte Mountain Resort's bike park is closed for the season as of this check (see below).

- Mountain Express free town-to-resort bus: Crested Butte Hostel's site describes a free town shuttle to Mt. The page text lists areas (Town Trails, Kebler Pass, Slate River, Washington Gulch, Gothic, Brush Creek, Cement Creek, Spring Creek/Taylor Pass, CBMR Bike Park) but showed no date stamp or per-trail color in the page text, so confirm live on the page.
